Please always refer to the Community Pharmacy England Seasonal Vaccination Services website page here for all the latest news and updates.

Autumn/Winter Campaign

This will begin from 1st October 2026 and end on 31st January 2027.

The groups to be offered COVID-19 in Autumn/Winter 2026 are:

  • Adults aged 75 years and over.
  • Residents in a care home for older adults.
  • Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed, as defined in COVID-19: the green book, chapter 14a (tables 3 & 4)

Eligibility is the same as the Spring 2025, Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026 campaigns.

Registering to Provide the Service

Pharmacy owners wishing to provide the service should first read the service specification to ensure that they can meet all the minimum requirements. Once you have confirmed that your pharmacy meets the requirements, you will need to register to notify the commissioner of your intention to provide COVID-19 and adult flu vaccinations.

From 1st April 2026 onwards, registration to provide the service is via the Manage Your Service (MYS) portal.

Pharmacies that register for COVID-19 will be automatically registered for the Adult Flu Vaccination Service, as this is a requirement of COVID-19 vaccination registration. In this circumstance, pharmacies do not have to register for the Adult Flu Vaccination Service separately.

The final deadline to register to provide COVID-19 vaccinations in 2026/27 is 11.59pm on 30th November 2026.

Useful Resources

The following posters can be displayed to explain to patients about who is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination:

Federated Data Platform (FDP)

Vaccines for the COVID-19 vaccination campaign are ordered centrally. Pharmacies require Federated Data Platform (FDP) access to order COVID-19 vaccine. A step-by-step guide is available.

If access issues occur, providers should clear their browser cache, switch to Microsoft Edge or use an InPrivate/Incognito window, and paste the link directly into the address bar. Persistent issues are typically caused by local firewall settings: providers should contact their local IT Service Desk for assistance.

Use of RAVS from September 2026

From 1st September 2026, community pharmacies must record all NHS vaccinations in the Record a Vaccination Service (RAVS) IT system, either accessing the service directly or via an approved pharmacy IT system. Pharmacy owners will still need to sign up for a RAVS account if they do not already have one. Read more about RAVS.

  •  Pharmacies without access to RAVS can request access here.
  • The RAVS User Guide is available here.
