Our Integrated Care System (ICS)

CPWY and all pharmacy contractors in West Yorkshire are part of the West Yorkshire Integrated Care System which is called the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership.

The West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership works in partnership with NHS organisations, councils, Healthwatch, charities and the community voluntary and social enterprise sector to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in our five local areas:

  • Bradford District and Craven
  • Calderdale
  • Kirklees
  • Leeds
  • Wakefield

The West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership website can be found here: https://www.wypartnership.co.uk/about.  The website has a wealth of information about the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, the priorities of our ICS, news updates, campaigns as well as details of meetings and publications.

Our Integrated Care Board (ICB)

Each ICS will have an Integrated Care Board (ICB), a statutory organisation bringing the NHS together locally to improve population health and establish shared strategic priorities within the NHS. The NHS West Yorkshire ICB became a statutory organisation on the 1st July 2022 as part of the Government’s new Health and Care Act.  A summary of structures and governance is available here: https://www.westyorkshire.icb.nhs.uk/about-west-yorkshire-integrated-care-board.
