Community Pharmacy West Yorkshire (CPWY) and NHS West Yorkshire ICB invite contractors to a focused session on the introduction of Community Pharmacy Prescribing Services within the CPCF 2026/27. This event will provide clarity on national requirements, local processes, and the practical support available to help you prepare for safe, confident delivery.

Why Attend? Prescribing is a brand-new area for most of community pharmacy, we all need to understand how we adapt to this change. Contractors and prescribers will gain a clear understanding of:
- What the new prescribing services include.
- What readiness looks like under the Professional Assurance Framework.
- The responsibilities placed on contractors and prescribers.
- Digital and operational requirements, including EPS enablement.
- The ICB’s onboarding and approval process.
- How CPWY will support you with practical tools, guidance and implementation resources.
This session is designed to give you the information you need to plan, prepare and make informed decisions about becoming a prescribing pharmacy.

About This Session – This event is designed to support proportionate, practical readiness. CPWY will not be approving contractors or prescribers – our role is to help you understand the requirements, prepare effectively, and feel confident navigating the new prescribing landscape.

Registration, food and networking are from 6.30pm. The event will take place on the first floor. Parking at this venue is free of charge. However, attendees must enter their car registration on arrival.
Registration is required to attend this event and a separate booking must be made for each registrant. The event is open to all West Yorkshire pharmacies.
