This will begin from 13th April 2026 and end on 30th June 2026, with priority being given to patients living in care homes for older adults and eligible housebound patients.
The groups to be offered COVID-19 for the spring 2026 programme are:
- Adults aged 75 years and over.
- Residents in a care home for older adults.
- Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed, as defined inCOVID-19: the green book, chapter 14a (tables 3 & 4)
Registration for the spring campaign is now open (there was a requirement to register by 2nd February 2026 to guarantee supplies in time for the start of the spring season). Pharmacies can continue to register for the service after 2nd February 2026, but they are not guaranteed to receive supplies of vaccines for the start of the spring campaign. To register for the COVID-19 Vaccination Service on or before 31st March 2026, you must complete their electronic registration declaration using this form which is an interim arrangement until the MYS registration is available in April 2026.

Useful Resources
Federated Data Platform (FDP)
Vaccines for the COVID-19 vaccination campaign are ordered centrally. Pharmacies taking part in the spring vaccination programme will require Federated Data Platform (FDP) access to order COVID-19 vaccine. A step-by-step guide is available.
If access issues occur, providers should clear their browser cache, switch to Microsoft Edge or use an InPrivate/Incognito window, and paste the link directly into the address bar. Persistent issues are typically caused by local firewall settings: providers should contact their local IT Service Desk for assistance.
