CPPE Pharmacy Contraception Service Workshops for West Yorkshire – February 2025
Working in collaboration with CPPE, we are hosting 2 local workshops to support pharmacists, including locums, across West Yorkshire.
CPWY has emailed all pharmacies in West Yorkshire on Thursday 2nd January 2025 via the pharmacy’s NHSmail address. Bookings must be made via the CPPE website using a unique code (all details can be found within the email). Places are limited and on a first come first serve basis!

Sunday 9th February 2025 – Morning Session (9.15am – 12noon) – Wakefield
Tuesday 11th February 2025 – Evening Session (6.30pm – 9.15pm) – Brighouse
This 2-hour workshop will focus on initiating oral contraception and is designed to help pharmacists feel more confident when supporting people who are starting or switching oral contraceptives. The workshop will cover the practicalities of providing the Pharmacy Contraception Service and will be interactive with the opportunity to discuss clinical scenarios and share ideas with peers.
