CPWY – Events

Community Pharmacy West Yorkshire will be hosting online and face to face meetings for all West Yorkshire community pharmacy contractors and their teams. When hosting online events, we will be using Zoom to provide you with the latest information. Details of how to use Zoom are available here.

VirtualOutcomes

CPWY is working with VirtualOutcomes to deliver a series of online training events throughout the year.  The training is free to access and is open to all members of the pharmacy team.  An introduction for VirtualOutcomes can be found here: https://vimeo.com/316124447. NHS Pharmacy First Service Training – January 2024

Do you know that the Pharmacy First Service consists of 3 elements – 2 existing (CPCS) and 1 new one? Do you know what your pharmacy needs to have in place and what training your pharmacists need to do? Do you want to know the key points from the 7 clinical pathways?

NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service – December 2023 (Updated for the New Service Specification!)

This course is split into two modules.  One module is for pharmacists and the other is for the pharmacy team. CPPE

The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) is funded by Health Education England to provide continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities for all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians providing NHS services in England. https://www.cppe.ac.uk/.  All CPPE events are open to pharmacists, pre-reg pharmacists and technicians registered with CPPE.

School of Medicines Optimisation

NHS Free Funded Training

NHS England has released details of free NHS funded training available for both pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, to help develop your practice and support with providing Pharmacy First. Training is fully funded, flexible, and tailored to existing skills, experience and individual learning requirements.  Learn new skills, support peer development and expand your clinical knowledge.
