A locally commissioned flu vaccination is also contracted in Bradford and Wakefield to provide flu vaccinations to social care staff that may not be eligible to be vaccinated under the NHS England flu advanced service.

The commissioner of this service is Bradford Metropolitan District Council. The commissioner lead is Michael Horsley, Nurse Manager, Infection Prevention – Michael.Horsley@bradford.gov.uk.
The service usually runs between 1st September to 31st January but always check service specification for details.
