UNLICENSED MEDICINES CERTIFICATES OF CONFORMITY / CERTIFICATES OF ANALYSIS

Following discussions between the West Yorkshire CCGs and NHS England (West Yorkshire Area Team), it has been agreed that the Area Team no longer wish to receive Certificates Of Conformity from West Yorkshire pharmacies. It is recognised that this is a contractual obligation for pharmacies, however NHS England (West Yorkshire Area Team) undertake not to apply any contractual sanction in relation to Certificates Of Conformity if pharmacies choose not to send them in.  Community Pharmacy West Yorkshire is aware of this agreement.

In making this undertaking, NHS England (West Yorkshire Area Team) do reserve the right to re-instate the submission of Certificates Of Conformity in the future should any concerns be raised about the quality of medicinal products supplied, or to review those certificates held by any particular pharmacy where issues may occur.
