New Anticoagulant Therapy Events!

Supporting Appropriate Use of Oral Anticoagulant Therapy – The Opportunity for Community Pharmacy

Therapy of patients with thromboembolic diseases is becoming more complex as new anticoagulation agents have entered the market in recent years.  Treatment failure and non-adherence can lead not only to severe or fatal consequences for the patient, but it also poses a significant challenge for healthcare providers from unnecessary medical costs.  Pharmacists require practical guidance for their own education in order to provide optimal care for patients with thromboembolic disease.

This programme aims to tackle the challenges above and has been developed by experienced UKCPA clinical pharmacy practitioners and you will find outstanding expert speakers ready to share their knowledge and best practice with you.

The events are being supported through sponsorship from Daiichi Sankyo and will be held on:

Tuesday 28th January 2020 - Village Hotel (Leeds South), Tingley, LS27 0TS

Tuesday 3rd March 2020 - Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford, BD5 8HW
